Home Remedies For Verrucas And Warts

Peel the skin of a potato as thinly as possible. Rub the inner side of the skin on the wart twice a day. Thanks to a chemical in the potato near the skin, the wart should turn black and drop off within a couple of weeks.

Rub the wart with a piece of chalk or a raw potato.

The milky juice squeezed from the stem of a dandelion or celandine can also be used as a balm. Smooth it onto the affected area and cover with a plaster. The next morning the wart or verruca should have disappeared.

Chop one raw onion in a dish, cover with salt and leave overnight. Apply the resulting juice to the warts twice a day, until they disappear.

Another great idea is to apply the milky juice of figs on the warts 2-3 times in a day, till the warts disappear.

Make a paste by crushing vitamin C tablets with water. Apply this on the wart and cover it with a bandage.

Put few drops of apple cider vinegar on the warts using cotton ball.
